Eye burn

From Aber
Jump to: navigation, search

A fairly rare condition found only amongst the most bitter and twisted of the #aber hardcore users. A similar phenomena to screen burn which occurs when a monitor has a still image displayed on it for a particularly lengthy time. Eye burn occurs when the channel is not active and is watched for long periods of time, causing a display of the channels text to be imprinted on the users vision. Unlike screen burn however eye burn can be reversed either by an interesting and engaging conversation taking place on #aber or a long sleep. Neither of these are common events in the average #aber users day. Some say people from the "alleged" north (See North, The) are more susceptible.
